Spring Skate Park

On March 27, 2012 quality of life advocates attended Houston City Council to promote the construction of the Spring Recreation Area an incredible facility in Greenspoint that will include the largest skate park in Houston and a park for children with disabilities, Park Without Limits. The City of Houston will decide the fate of this much needed youth facility by June 30th (City of Houston fiscal year-end).  They will either allocate the TIRZ funds to the Greenspoint Mall for reinvestment, or fund the Recretaion Area.  If you have an interest in voicing your opinion, contact the City at, mayor@houstontx.gov.

  1. Houston really needs more parks for skateboarders and in liners. It is not only a great way to keep our youth off the streets; but is also bring together families and friend to a worry free environment of great safe fun.
